The world is in “freak-out mode” due to the new Coronavirus, but homeopaths are not nearly as concerned about it…and for good reasons. Put your mind at ease…… some good info from Homeopathic Educational Services:

Homeopathy & the Coronavirus:
Homeopathic treatment has had a long history of success in treating people suffering from various viral infections. Oscillococcinum is helpful for the common flu virus and four controlled clinical studies have confirmed its efficacy. The many successes from the homeopathic treatment of the 1918 flu epidemic provides additional support for the efficacy of homeopathic medicines. Personal experiences with Influenzinum has found safe results in defending against and preventing the flu.

The worst problems occur when people get a viral infection and then use fever-reducing drugs, such as aspirin or acetaminophen. Because fever is an important defense of the body, suppressing fever can be dangerous.

Please realize that the media is creating an atmosphere of FEAR! Sadly and strangely, they are not reporting on these facts:

— No deaths occurred in children aged 9 years and younger, but cases in those aged 70 to 79 years had an 8% fatality rate and those aged 80 years and older had a fatality rate of 14.8%..

— The vast majority of people who died from this virus had a pre-existing condition, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, respoiratory disease, or cancer.

— There is a higher incidence of death in MEN in China, seemingly due to the fact that so many more men smoke tobacco than do women.

Hearing reports from China, homeopaths there report that the symptoms of people who get the Coronavirus point towards Gelsemium (first choice) and Bryonia or Eupatorium perf (as second choices). One other potentially very important remedy is SQUILLA MAR. (if you do research on it, you’ll be intrigued by how well it fits the known symptoms) It is best to individualize treatment.

Please also remember that the highest death rates from this virus come from China where a large percentage of the people there smoke a lot of tobacco…plus many of their cities are highly polluted. These stresses to the respiratory tract are not as serious in many other countries.

Big thanks to Sally Williams for this info.
